Description

The Essdee Block Printing Essentials Kit includes everything you need to begin your first steps into relief printing.

This kit provides the essential tools and materials that you need to create your own prints, including easy-to-carve SoftCut carving blocks and our innovative safety cutter which is ideal for beginners.

Also included is our patented 3-in-1 Baren, which enables prints to be made by hand, and 100ml of our premium quality water-based block printing ink, enough to make many prints.

This educational and fun kit is ideal for making unique greeting cards, gifts, scrapbooking or even great works of art!

Instructions

  • Squeeze out a small 8-10mm length of ink onto a flat plate, or piece of glass, and roll out using the roller.
  • The SoftCut and Ink Roller can be cleaned under a running tap after use.

31st January 2018 Reviewed by Hannah Cook11 I bought this set in order to try out block printing, having never tried it before. This is a well priced set with most of the useful materials needed for printing. The only other thing that the set could do with is a tray to roll the ink out on. More linoleum to print with would also be useful but is probably asking a bit much considering the low price of the set. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try block printing without making too large a commitment to buying lots of expensive materials.
