The prestigious painting competition returns to the National Portrait Gallery for 2025. The Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award celebrates the very best in contemporary portraiture and is one of the most important platforms for portrait painters today. This year, 46 captivating portraits from around the world have been selected for display in the exhibition.

The National Portrait Gallery is home to the most extensive collection of portraits in the world. It is a Gallery for everyone, full of life and filled with life stories.
