Liquitex Slow-Dri Fluid Retarder is a fluid that slows the drying time of acrylic paints and mediums by up to 40%. An absolute essential additive if working in hot or drier climates.
Extends the open time of your colour/medium so it is blendable and workable for longer Maintains the same level of transparency
Lowers viscosity
Ideal for dry and hot climates
How to use:
Fully intermixable with all Liquitex products Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-Dri to your colour/medium
Stir slowly to mix well
If you're working over a long period of time, mix into color on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer
As this is an additive - with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your colour/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage
Do not use with any non-acrylic media
