Schmincke Medium W makes oil colours watermixable, enabling them to be used with water rather than solvents such as turpentine or white spirit.
For best results Medium W should be mixed in one part to two parts oil colour using a palette knife.
Water can then be mixed with the colour to thin the paint down colour prior to use.
Brushes and tools that have been used with Medium W can also be cleaned up easily with soap and water.
