• The origin of Sennelier Oil Pastels, at the request of Pablo Picasso himself, is a good indication of the level of quality here. Gustave Sennelier created them in 1949 when the great man requested intense colours that he could use on as many surfaces as possible luxurious lipstick-creamy texture and extremely high pigmentation that provides excellent coverage and is fully lightfast You can apply Sennelier Oil Pastels direct or blend them with your finger or cloth, and you can also dilute them with turpentine and blend them with a brush.
• This Sennelier Oil Pastel Pad contains 12 x 340gsm sheets of heavyweight paper specially prepared to make an ideal surface for oil pastels, each sheet alternated with crystal paper to avoid smudging.
• Sennelier's Oil Pastel Fixative d'Artigny is specially created from a vinyl resin and alcohol base, formulated for use specficially with oil pastels. This totally transparent aerosol fixative leaves a clear and glossy film to protect oil pastels against dust and smearing, once artwork has been completed.
