Zest-it Oil Paint Dilutant And Brush Cleaner is a much safer solvent for oil painters than Gum Turpentine and White Spirit, it has been an excellent alternative for many years.
It removes colour, thinners and mediums from skin and brushes effectively, but is based on the zest of citrus fruit, so has a lovely fresh odour.
It also thins oil paint and improves transparency, and blends coloured pencils and pastels on paper.
Zest-it Oil Paint Dilutant And Brush Cleaner is non-flammable and biodegradable, and is ideal for use in shared studios, schools and colleges, and by those allergic to conventional thinners.
If you need to dispose of unused Brush Cleaner, before throwing away ask you local art club if they could make use of it, you may do someone a good deed!
Dispose of 'paint sludge' by putting onto damp sand or soil in a container. Do not throw the liquid or brush washings down the sink.
