  • Assistant Manager (Charing Cross)

    Charing Cross, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As an Assistant Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. Responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, (sometimes unsupervised), our Assistant Managers work  with the team in an enthusiastic and energetic manner to ensure the achievement of sales targets in addition to a safe, secure, efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the Cass Art store.

  • Ecommerce Trading Executive

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

    Reporting into the Ecommerce Manager, the primary focus of this role will be supporting the Ecommerce team to trade the UK Cass Art site effectively. Key to this will be merchandising the website to ensure that sales and conversion opportunities are maximised in order to deliver sales and margin targets against budget.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    •  Ensure all products and categories are correctly and effectively merchandised on the website to optimise the customer experience and sales. 
    • Daily review of the website to check and optimise merchandising along with conducting regular reviews of all parts of the website.
    • Manage the creation of new listings, ensuring products are set up and merchandised correctly and effectively
    • Timely execution of weekly web content campaign updates, to maximize customer engagement and revenue opportunities.
    • Execute price changes as requested and monitor any issues to ensure competitive pricing as well as protecting the margin.
    • Optimise on-site search as well as the cross and up-sell capabilities of products on the site to drive average order value.
    • Work with the Merchandising team to flag any issues to help manage sufficient stock levels
    • Help manage the creation of high quality product content for the benefit of our customers and as primary driver for long-term SEO benefits.
    • Prepare weekly reporting and insight to help the business understand performance, identifying issues and trading trends and providing action steps
    • Undertake market analysis and competitor analysis and monitor competitor activity
    • Work with our head office departments and our stores to optimise the experience for customers across all channels
    • Support the Ecommerce manager on a wide range of operational tasks - including ad-hoc change request, discount mechanics, bulk orders and corrections.

     Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience

    • 1 – 2 years Ecommerce Trading experience ideally working for a branded product online retailer.

  • Retail Training Co-ordinator

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

     Working as an integral part of the training and retail operations team you will be training staff members from across the business about Cass Art’s product offering across all categories. You will also train staff on our brand history, core values, manifesto, and company heritage. As the retail training team is split into two with one training coordinator based in London and the other based in Glasgow, your focus will be on training our London based store and head office teams as well as our stores based closer to the south of the UK.  

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Deliver key product and sales training sessions to meet business needs.
    • Run effective training workshops which cater to all learner types. Adapt the training for different considerations such as timing, learner’s ability, group size, cancellations and lateness etc.
    • Manage and develop the Cass Art e-learning platform.
    • Provide weekly reports of training sessions, weekly activity, and induction training feedback- continually updating store training records.
    • Deliver fun, informative and engaging brand induction sessions so new starters to the business fully understand the company history, manifesto and core values.
    • Continue to develop effective written and digital training materials and tools plan.
    • Update and manage the training schedules for London stores making intake sessions a priority, along with working with the Store Management team and in-store training ambassadors to plan in ad-hoc sessions.
    • Work closely with the Head of HR and Area Manager; to identify training needs and develop training plans for Store Managers and their teams.
    • Prepare product training plans for new stores and co-ordinate the delivery of training required.
    • Develop, maintain and monitor individual staff training archives which detail training modules which have been attended and training needs.
    • Identify the alignment between customer service, product knowledge, and the achievement of sales targets. Ensure this is communicated to the sales team during training sessions.
    • Develop an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction delivered.

  • PA

    - Permanent / Part Time Details

    In this role you will be working as an integral part of the in-house administrative support function; providing dedicated professional PA support to the CEO covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner, including all aspects of diary management, schedules, meetings and travel whilst also taking the lead on some company projects and events as directed. Key to your success in this role will be your excellent organisation skills, personable manner, and your ability to multi-task to ensure that the CEO’s diary is well managed.

    This role covers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an 8am start

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING

    • Providing dedicated professional PA support to Mark Cass covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner.
    • Responsible for general PA duties such as; monitoring emails, opening post, file management, typing correspondence, dictation, minute taking and any other administrative duties as they arise.
    • Diary management including meeting, accommodation and travel arrangements along with personal event planning.
    • Responsible for following up financial procedures, including processing of weekly/monthly expense claims.
    • Communication and liaison with Suppliers, key external and internal Business Partners and Stake holders as and when required.

  • Customer Service Manager

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

    The Customer Services Manager  will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service at all times and promoting a culture that ensures that the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Managing a team of 3 Customer Services Executives, the role is key to ensuring that all customers are satisfied and impressed with the high standards of the brand and the products we sell and produce.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Work with the Ecommerce team to develop a service strategy that supports our vision and commercial objectives.
    • Leading by example through giving intelligent and thoughtful advice or service via phone, email, social media or online chat channel along with managing escalations.
    • Implement a step change, in which the department drives and recommends sales when relevant to drive revenue, in a for the customer meaningful way.
    • Map out, document and optimise Customer Service processes and interactions with other departments – implement ongoing reporting and continuous improvement plans
    • Monitor customer services offering of competitors and relevant retailers and stay up-to –date with innovation and trend aiming to optimize Cass Art’s service offering.
    • Work closely with the warehouse and other 3rd parties to resolve any dispatch/ delivery issues. 
    • Work with a variety of technical solutions and platforms such as Fresh Desk, Blubolt CMS, Google Sheets and address any technical issues with the relevant support desks and implement improvements.
    • Analyse customer service statistics, and other website data, to determine gaps in the level of customer service Cass Art is providing and where the service can be improved

    THE CANDIDATE:

    • Experience working as a Customer Service Manager or within store operations in a retail environment with responsibility for improving customer service to achieve positive results.
    • At least 5 years’ experience in Customer Service or Store Operations.
    • Outstanding Customer service skills and a passion for providing the best customer service possible.

    Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, the primary focus of this role will be to trade the Cass Art Marketplace sites effectively in order to deliver sales and margin targets against budget. Key to success in this role will be the ability to drive profitable growth of the Cass Art Amazon store, by continuing to build a well-structured product / category and brand presence along with testing and launching on other marketplaces in the UK & International to drive the brand further.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Ensure all new and existing products are correctly set up to optimise the customer experience and sales
    • Check and optimise both the UK and international marketplaces daily and conduct regular reviews
    • Build up own brand sales via samples and bundles.
    • Ensure continuous improvement of stock availability: by organising timely shipments through monitoring rates of sale yet limit storage fees as much as possible.
    • Prepare weekly reporting and insight to help the business understand performance, identify issues and trading trends and providing action steps
    • Review and explore alternative fulfilment options
    • Help manage the creation of high-quality content and optimise the Cass Brand representation.
    • Explore, test and launch on other marketplaces in the UK and International to drive the brand further

    The Senior Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing position is an exciting new role that will be responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy to acquire, retain and reactivate customers.   • Retail Sales Assistant & Keyholder (Winchester)

    Winchester Campus, Winchester Permanent / Part Time Details

    Our Retail Sales Assistant & Key Holder will contribute to the success and smooth running of the Cass Art Campus shop through providing assistance and excellent customer service to the customers who come to shop with us. You will work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand, and that of our business partners whose supplies are sold in our shop. In addition to your sales and customer service duties you will support the Floor Manager with some store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and locking up of the shop and any secured area of the store.

    We are looking for candidates who can cover 8 hours per week.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

    • Assist Cass Art customers with any queries relating to goods in store and their purchase.
    • Communicate politely with customers, providing the best customer service.
    • Respond to any general customer enquiries in store and on the phone.
    • Develop a good knowledge and understanding of products sold by Cass Art.
    • Cover for the sales floor as and when instructed by your line/duty Manager.
    • Report feedback re: store issues to the Floor Manager, Retail Operations Manager and or relevant head office depts.
    • Assist in the receipt of deliveries, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health & safety and merchandising guidelines.
    • Opening and closing of the Cass Art store and any secured area of the store when required
    • Carry out with care, cash handling procedures: i.e. petty cash, banking procedures, cash in transit, night safe, safe logs and cash storage when authorised by Senior Management.
    • Abide with legislative instructions with regards to sale, and Trading standards opening and closing restrictions
    • Work alongside the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets set.

    Our Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish a rapport with customers as you work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. A proactive and professional approach will be required in order to achieve and exceed sales targets set. The ability to work using your own initiative along with the other members of the team in order to maintain the standards of the department will also be essential.
