  • Key Holder (Hampstead)

    Hampstead, London Permanent / Part Time Details

    We currently have a Key Holder position available in our Hampstead store. This role contributes to the success and smooth running of the store through providing assistance and excellent customer as well as effectively working as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. The Key Holder has responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager for store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and locking of stores and any secured area of the store.

    This role covers 32 hours per week.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsabilities (included but are not limited to):

    • Assist customers with any queries relating to goods in store and their purchase.
    • Provide managerial cover and assistance for the sales floor as and when instructed by your line/duty Manager.
    • Opening and closing of the store and any secured area of the store when required.
    • Be a contact for emergency call outs and store alarm support.
    • Carry out cash handling procedures.
    • Abide with legislative instructions with regards to sale and Trading Standards opening and closing restrictions.
    • Ensure products are properly priced and labelled in-line with Trading Standards and store merchandising guidelines.
    • Maintaining vigilance at all times, to help minimise any potential stock loss.
    • Work alongside the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets set.

    Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • Currently working at Retail Sales Assistant or Key Holder level.
    • Good organisation skills-able to work unsupervised when required.
    • IT proficiency- use of MS packages including word and excel.
    • A positive 'can-do' attitude-committed and enthusiastic.

  • Store Manager (Charing Cross)

    Charing Cross, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As a Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. You will lead and inspire your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets as well as assist in growing the business through compliance and operational excellence as well as utilising your business acumen and commercial flair.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Develop an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction.
    • Clearly and concisely communicate the business, and store objectives to the team to ensure they remain well informed of business and company activity and of their required contribution to those goals and targets.
    • Develop a positive and empowering working environment resulting in team retention and a reduction in employee turnover.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, in line with company policy, to set objectives, KPI’s and provide coaching and support to deliver results from your team.
    • Coordinate the retail inductions/training of all new team members.
    • Utilise all company initiatives and incentives to drive sales performance and Store standards.

  • Stock Supervisor, (Kensington)

    Kensington, London Permanent / Part Time Details

    We have an opportunity for a Stock Supervisor to join our Kensington store. Working with the Store Management team along with the Merchandising and Buying departments, this role maintains stock inventory and procurement in store to enhance stock to shop floor stock availability, general stockroom organisation and deliveries.

    This role covers 24 hours over 3 days.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Maintain stock levels, planning and ordering of products in our Kensington store.
    • Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health and safety and merchandising guidelines.
    • Process received stock, making it available for the sales floor in a timely manner.
    • Ensure product prices are properly priced/ labelled in line with trading standards.
    • Keep up to date with stock availability, promotions, product changes and order processing development as directed by the Merchandising team.
    • Report on damaged stock and write offs and communicate with the Merchandising team to provide feedback and analysis.
    • Contribute to general store safety through ensuring that all health & safety procedures are effectively carried out and reporting any concerns to the Store Manager/Manager on duty.
    • Assist and conduct all product stock takes with the assistance/guidance of the I.T. and Stock Co-ordinator.
    • Proactively work with the Store Manager, Merchandising team, and operations team to identify system improvements and processes affecting the department.

    THE CANDIDATE:

    • Experience working in a retail environment using retail stock control systems.
    • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
