  • Graphic Designer

    - Permanent Details

    Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer and working as part of the wider business commercial team, you will perform an integral function in the business, responsible for graphic design and delivery of creative initiatives for the company’s online and external initiatives. You will undertake a high volume of design led tasks covering brand marketing and seasonal campaigns.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Create campaign artwork in partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer and creative team.
    • Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to review existing web banners and regularly optimise banners across the website to ensure customer engagement.
    • Design and creation of a high volume of Cass Art newsletters to a high standard.
    • Liaise with external partners to deliver newsletter or advertising creative.
    • Ensure Cass Art brand guidelines are always met both internally through company signatures and documents.
    • Research and report on current trends in image and typography, and where appropriate incorporate into brand communications.

      Desired knowledge, skills and experience

    • Proven experience in a Digital/Graphic Designer role, experience of working within a retail Head Office would be beneficial.
    • Excellent proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, Acrobat Pro.

  • Social Media Marketing Executive

    - Permanent Details

    Reporting into the Marketing Director the role of Social Media Marketing Executive will create and maintain an engaging online presence for Cass Art, while supporting our online artist communities. Based in our London head Office this role will include some UK travel and weekend working,

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Create a consistent plan for our core social channels: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and ensure that this plan is also aligned with an innovative YouTube content
    • Design posts and pages to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products and our events
    • Monitor and optimise our brand hashtags, and track trending topics to inform best practice
    • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
    • Manage a National and Local Content Plan with the Content Marketing Executive, ensuring it reflects Cass Art’s Trade and Communication Plans
    • Work closely with individual Store Managers to ensure their store activity is represented and geotargeted to their local audience (travel to local stores will be required, some weekend work)
    • Understand current trends, platform updates and innovative approaches to different social platforms, and research our audience preferences to educate the wider company
    • Suggest new ways to attract and engage artists across the UK, such as promotions and competitions
    • Find new creative audiences to talk to through look-a-like audiences, link baiting and profiling
    • Maintain social media account layouts, with regularly refreshed cover photos and backgrounds
    • Measure web traffic, engagement and monitor SEO. This should include link tracking analysis and code redemption reports.

     Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience

    •  At least one year’s proven work experience as a Social media coordinator, across multiple social media platforms would be beneficial, coupled with a degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field.
    • Ability to deliver creative content (copywriting, image and video)
    • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
    • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
    • Experience of paid Social Advertising, hashtag and keyword research and Google Analytics

  • Merchandising Assistant

    - Permanent Details

    This role supports the Head of Merchandising Ranging and Promotions and Merchandiser to ensure effective supplier and store liaison. Key to your success in this role will be your understanding of the buying and merchandising function (from study or work experience), you will also need to be highly organised and be able to multi-task, offering administrative support to the team to ensure that stock orders are processed and any issues resolved in a timely manner.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Process store orders on a daily basis and handle delivery and stock issues.
    • Communication and liaison by phone and email with suppliers and stores to deliver the most up to date accurate information.
    • Manage system uploads to ensure database file accuracy.
    • Assist with new product creation on the stock control system and maintain the re-order spread sheet and product information files.
    • Ensure where applicable that the business is made aware of any issues regarding stock availability, and particularly any delays to product delivery dates.
    • Create reports as required.
    • Assist in the streamlining of store ordering/replenishment and administrative tasks within the department.
    • General administrative duties as directed.

    THE CANDIDATE:

    • Graduate level with an understanding of the Buying and Merchandising function gained through study or work experience.
    • Energy , passion, enthusiasm with a desire to learn about the Buying and Merchandising function
    • Administratively strong with sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Forecasting and analytical skills
    • Experience working in a fast paced constantly changing retail head office environment would be advantageous

  • Data Analyst

    - Permanent Details

    As a Data Analyst you will be hands on with data, able to turn numbers into commercial insight, thus playing a key role in supporting the business to enhance commercial outcomes. Working with a number of key internal stakeholders, including, (but not limited to), Buying, Merchandising, Marketing and Sales teams, you will collect and analyse information from a range of sources and use it to develop accurate and insightful reports.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)

    • Analysing customer data to understand trends and customer behaviour and recommend actions & support senior management in decision making
    • Responsible for the creation and production of a suite of reports across the business on sales performance ad-hoc/weekly/monthly.
    • Month end analysis against trading plans and profits and providing analytical insights into sales, risks, margin and trends
    • Reports sales performance of product by channel, by store and by category, constantly reporting on over and underperformance (potentially via a dashboard mechanism. )
    • Identifies strong-performing lines, works with rest of  the business to drive under-performing lines or recommendation of discontinued lines.
    • Prepares the quarterly/ monthly category reviews for B&M teams which drive the priorities for each category.
    • Works with the ecommerce team to drive improved sales performance-analysing sales performance by page etc.
    • Works with the stores and Merchandising team to analyse sales per sq. ft. etc.
    • Identify key profitability measures; build models to capture the future impact of changing trends.
    • Analyses and reports on customer data to support senior management in decision making.
    • Builds internal business relationships, working with Head Office departments and our stores.

     Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    •  Highly numerate - experience of managing & analysing large volumes of data
    • Highly analytical, evidence of analytical background / experience
    • Ability to interpret data in order to convince others of the course of action.
    • Commercial understanding of multi-channel retail businesses - essential to understand online channel/ecommerce
    • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels and comfortable with summarising and presenting data to Senior Management
    • Previous experience in mid-sized retailer would be beneficial (especially a multi/Omni-channel retailer). 
    • Enthusiastic, dynamic, can handle change well, self- starter, and team player
    • SQL & SSRS and Database skills – essential.
    • Superlative Excel skills and BI tools are essential.
    • Ideally financial qualification, (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) but not essential.
  • Flagship Store Manager

    Islington, London Permanent Details

    As the Store Manager of our Flagship Store in Islington you will be working as an integral part of the company retail business management function, optimising the commercial performance of our Flagship store by identifying business opportunities to drive sales and promote products. Central to this will be you leading, inspiring and developing your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets set, as well as assist in growing the business through compliance, operational excellence, marketing development, business acumen and commercial flair. You will be used to implementing CRM and focusing on customer centric strategies to uphold a culture of the customer at the heart of everything, ensuring an exceptional in-store customer experience and reflection of the Company core values at the highest level.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities, (Include but are not limited to):

    • Effectively analyse and manage the controllable costs and losses within your allocated budget in order to ensure a profitable performance across the board for the store.
    • Maximise revenue through events, promotions, workshops and activity in line with the Trade plan
    • Analyse trade information and make commercial decisions to increase revenue
    • Proactively monitor store sales, developing strategies to strive to meet and exceed sales targets set.
    • Monitor retail performance and local sales trends, report on performance in the business area,
    • Coordinate the retail inductions/training of all RTSA’s, KH’s and SPVSR’s, Stock team members, ASM’s and Senior Store Management in store.
    • Clearly and concisely communicate the business, and store objectives to the team to ensure they remain well informed of business and company activity and of their required contribution to those goals and targets.
    • Identify and proactively support the development of talented individuals to support area succession plans and talent
    • Team management-including recruitment, interviewing, rotas, training, employee relations and discipline.
    • Develop a positive and empowering working environment resulting in team retention and a reduction in employee turnover.
    • Work extensively in partnership with the Marketing dept. and Head of Retail Operations & Sales on local marketing strategies and CRM development

    Our Supervisors are a key part of our Management teams. Assisting in the operational excellence and sales growth of the stores, they are responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key-holder’s.

    Glasgow - Flagship, Glasgow Full Time, Temporary Details

    Our Supervisors are a key part of our Management teams. Assisting in the operational excellence and sales growth of the stores, they are responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key-holder’s.

    This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

  • Key Holder (Soho)

    - Details

    Contributing to the success and smooth running of our Soho  store the Key Holder will have responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor for store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and closing of the shop and the locking any secure areas of the store as well as providing assistance and excellent customer service.

    We are looking for a Key Holder who can cover 32 hours per week over 5 days.
