  • HR Assistant

    - Permanent/ Full Time Details

    In this role you will work as an integral part of our people function- playing a frontline role in our HR team, supporting our managers and staff through the entire employee life cycle. Central to your success in this role will be your ability to work effectively in a generalist capacity, supporting the Head of HR, the HR department, stores, and the wider business with day to day HR administration, HR assistance, HR Information System implementation and maintenance, and communication.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to):

    • Working with the Head of HR to deal with queries from employees, managers, prospective employees and third parties
    • Administering HR-related documentation, in a timely manner ( such as such as contracts of employment and due diligence checks, new starter documentation)
    • Referring and/or escalating any complex HR matters to the Head of HR, and where appropriate, working together to obtain a solution.
    • Updates to the company contact list and organisation chart, reflecting, any department changes, leavers, position changes and promotions.
    • Monitoring of the Office attendance log/ time and attendance system, (to include, sickness, absence and holiday tracking).
    • Maintaining and updating employee records, namely the HR Information System (Exelsys), electronic filing system and personnel files.
    • Ensure all new starters are set up on the HRIS upon joining and receive the relevant instructions and training.
    • Assisting in the production of documentation including reports, agendas and presentations to a high standard.
    • Filing of retail and office staff personnel documentation.
    • Compiling any messages for the attention of the Head of HR and Talent Acquisition Partner.
    • Compliance with GDPR and data privacy.
    • Administration of payroll files to ensure that information provided is correct and within relevant payroll cut-off dates.
    • Conduct maternity meetings/ parental meetings along with supporting with disciplinary/grievance matters as directed by the Head of HR.
    • Ensuring all work is appropriately updated, handed-over and covered in absences of self and/or other members of the team.

    Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience

    • Minimum 1 year previous HR administration/ Assistance experience.
    • CIPD qualified or working towards it (desirable)
    • Fluency in written and spoke English and excellent communication skills.
    • Intermediate/Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to handle sensitive documentation-awareness and understanding of the confidential nature of the job.
    • Ability to interact in a professional manner with confidence, with Senior Management, office colleagues and retail personnel where applicable

  • Ecommerce Trading Executive

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

    Reporting into the Ecommerce Manager, the primary focus of this role will be supporting the Ecommerce team to trade the UK Cass Art site effectively. Key to this will be merchandising the website to ensure that sales and conversion opportunities are maximised in order to deliver sales and margin targets against budget.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    •  Ensure all products and categories are correctly and effectively merchandised on the website to optimise the customer experience and sales. 
    • Daily review of the website to check and optimise merchandising along with conducting regular reviews of all parts of the website.
    • Manage the creation of new listings, ensuring products are set up and merchandised correctly and effectively
    • Timely execution of weekly web content campaign updates, to maximize customer engagement and revenue opportunities.
    • Execute price changes as requested and monitor any issues to ensure competitive pricing as well as protecting the margin.
    • Optimise on-site search as well as the cross and up-sell capabilities of products on the site to drive average order value.
    • Work with the Merchandising team to flag any issues to help manage sufficient stock levels
    • Help manage the creation of high quality product content for the benefit of our customers and as primary driver for long-term SEO benefits.
    • Prepare weekly reporting and insight to help the business understand performance, identifying issues and trading trends and providing action steps
    • Undertake market analysis and competitor analysis and monitor competitor activity
    • Work with our head office departments and our stores to optimise the experience for customers across all channels
    • Support the Ecommerce manager on a wide range of operational tasks - including ad-hoc change request, discount mechanics, bulk orders and corrections.

     Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience

    • 1 – 2 years Ecommerce Trading experience ideally working for a branded product online retailer.
    • Proven experience of working with a large volume of data
    • Numerate, with a high level of commercial acumen
    • Experience using of web analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • High proficiency in standard MS Office programs, particularly Excel
    • Ability to manage upwards and work with all levels of a retail business
    • Ambitious and eager to learn

  • Key Holder (Islington)

    Islington, London Permanent / Part time Details

    We currently have a Key Holder position available in our Islington store. This role contributes to the success and smooth running of the store through providing assistance and excellent customer as well as effectively working as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. The Key Holder has responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager for store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and locking of stores and any secured area of the store.

     This role covers 24 hours per week

     MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Assist customers with any queries relating to goods in store and their purchase.
    • Provide managerial cover and assistance for the sales floor as and when instructed by your line/duty Manager.
    • Opening and closing of the store and any secured area of the store when requireBe a contact for emergency call outs and store alarm support.
      • Carry out cash handling procedures.
      • Abide with legislative instructions with regards to sale and Trading Standards opening and closing restrictions.
      • Ensure products are properly priced and labelled in-line with Trading Standards and store merchandising guidelines.
      • Maintaining vigilance at all times, to help minimise any potential stock loss.
      • Work alongside the store team to achieve and exceed sales targets set.

     

    THE CANDIDATE

    • Currently working at Retail Sales Assistant or Key Holder level.
    • Good organisation skills-able to work unsupervised when required.
    • IT proficiency- use of MS packages including word and excel.

    Islington, London Permanent Details

    As a Supervisor in our Flagship Islington Store you will be working as part of the wider store management team assisting in operational excellence and sales growth. This role is also responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key Holders.

    This role covers 37.5 hours per week.

     MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Supervise the shop floor and till areas
    • Assume duty management responsibility including Store opening and closure in the absence of a Store Manager/Assistant Manager
    • Process refunds and exchanges in line with the company policy
    • Promote and maintain customer service standards
    • Team management-including recruitment and discipline
    • In conjunction with the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager plan effective rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels during all trading hours and staffing costs are in line with budget
    • Report to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager any stock, customer service or staffing issues which are affecting the business

    Soho, London Permanent/Full Time Details

    As a Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function to lead and inspire your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets set, as well as assist in growing the business through compliance, operational excellence, business acumen and commercial flair. Responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants, Key holder’s, Stock Assistants, Stock Supervisors, Supervisors, and Assistant Store Managers. We have an ambitious opening schedule of new stores around the UK and this rapid expansion programme offers a unique place to work within the High Street and provides many new opportunities for development and career progression.

  • Seasonal Retail Sales Assistants

    - Temporary / Part Time Details

    Our Seasonal Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish a rapport with customers as you work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. A proactive and professional approach will be required in order to achieve and exceed sales targets set. The ability to work using your own initiative along with the other members of the team in order to maintain the standards of the department will also be essential.

    We have part time vacancies availble throughoput our London stores from 25th November until 13th January.
