  • Area Manager (Maternity Cover)

    All Stores, Permanent/ Temporary Details

    In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of our retail stores across the UK in order to make sure that customer service standards, sales targets and operational efficiencies are driven across all of our stores. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to lead, coach, train and support our Store Managers with the achievement of their business goals, desired sales targets and objectives as outlined in our Company strategy and budgets.

    This role is based in London with travel across the UK and covers 12 months of maternity leave.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Drive the Store teams to meet and exceed sales and business targets set.
    • Ensure company standards are adhered to creating a clean and inviting environment for our customers and staff alike.

    Islington, London Permanent/ Full Time Details

    As a Supervisor in our Flagship Islington Store you will be working as part of the wider store management team assisting in operational excellence and sales growth. This role is also responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key Holders.

    Islington, London Permanent / Part time Details

    We currently have a Key Holder position available in our Hampstead store. This role contributes to the success and smooth running of the store through providing assistance and excellent customer as well as effectively working as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. The Key Holder has responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager for store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and locking of stores and any secured area of the store.

     This role covers 24 hours per week

     MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING:

    • Assist customers with any queries relating to goods in store and their purchase.
    • Provide managerial cover and assistance for the sales floor as and when instructed by your line/duty Manager.

    We have an opportunity for a Stock Assistant to join the team in our Bristol store. Working with the store Management team, Merchandising and Buying departments this role maintains stock inventory and procurement in store, enhancing stock to shop floor stock availability, general stockroom organisation and deliveries.

     This role covers 30 hours per week

    As we continue to grow our stores portfolio we are now looking for talented team members to join our Cass Art Campus Store opening in the Winchester School of Art.

    Assisting with operational excellence and sales growth for the Cass Art Campus Store, our Floor Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants-Key-holder’s. You will work with and manage the team with positive energy and enthusiasm.

    Our Retail Sales Assistant & Key Holder will contribute to the success and smooth running of the Cass Art Campus shop through providing assistance and excellent customer service to the customers who come to shop with us. You will work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand, and that of our business partners whose supplies are sold in our shop. In addition to your sales and customer service duties you will support the Floor Manager with some store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and locking up of the shop and any secured area of the store.

  • Email Marketing Executive

    - Permanent / Full time Details

    We have an opportunity for an Email Marketing Executive to join our Customer Engagement team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing all customer activation and retention strategies, including the Cass Art Rewards and Student loyalty programmes. You will use RFM data, transactional data and web browsing behaviour to deliver inspiring, relevant and timely communications which achieve outstanding levels of customer engagement. The focus is on activation and driving repeat purchase, along with delivering a consistent customer experience across our stores and online. The role requires a combination of strong analytical skills and creative flair to create relevant and engaging campaigns to drive customer loyalty to Cass Art.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)

    • Together with the Head of Customer Engagement, create, execute and continuously review CRM strategies which drive lead conversion, customer retention and loyalty, and overall growth of the business.
    • On-going management of customer segments on our marketing platforms which are aligned to this strategy.
    • Work closely with the Head of Customer Engagement to implement lifecycle and behavioural triggered email campaigns, reviewing continuously to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop initiatives to help improve and drive data capture across all customer touch points including the website, stores and competitions.
    • Work with the Ecommerce team and our Loyalty partner to build or amend transactional emails and electronic receipts, which are a critical aspect of how we communicate with customers.
    • Day to day operational management of our loyalty schemes, including Cass Art Rewards, Cobalt Blue and Viridian cards. This involves working with the Customer Service team to manage customer queries, monitoring KPIs at store level, ensuring continuous availability of cards and relevant marketing collateral, managing web content relating to each scheme.
    • Undertake email performance and loyalty scheme reporting and gather insight to continuously improve engagement and develop our CRM strategy.

     Desired Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience owning email marketing and segmentation plans, including the end-to-end co-ordination, within a retail brand
    • Experience of using at least one email service provider for at least 12 months and an excellent understanding of email marketing best practice.

  • HR Assistant

    - Permanent/ Full Time Details

    In this role you will work as an integral part of our people function- playing a frontline role in our HR team, supporting our managers and staff through the entire employee life cycle. Central to your success in this role will be your ability to work effectively in a generalist capacity, supporting the Head of HR, the HR department, stores, and the wider business with day to day HR administration, HR assistance, HR Information System implementation and maintenance, and communication.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to):

    • Working with the Head of HR to deal with queries from employees, managers, prospective employees and third parties
    • Administering HR-related documentation, in a timely manner ( such as such as contracts of employment and due diligence checks, new starter documentation)
    • Referring and/or escalating any complex HR matters to the Head of HR, and where appropriate, working together to obtain a solution.
    • Updates to the company contact list and organisation chart, reflecting, any department changes, leavers, position changes and promotions.
    • Monitoring of the Office attendance log/ time and attendance system, (to include, sickness, absence and holiday tracking).
    • Maintaining and updating employee records, namely the HR Information System (Exelsys), electronic filing system and personnel files.

    Glasgow Permanent / Full Time Details

    As the Store Operations Manager in our Glasgow Flagship Store, you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. Reporting into the store General Manager and our Retail Operations Manager you will lead and inspire your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets set, as well as assist in growing the business through compliance, operational excellence, business acumen and commercial flair. You will develop this through implementing the guidelines and principles for a Cass Art Store and will be responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, with particular focus on the retail operations of the store, together with direct line management responsibility the shop floor and back of house teams

  • Flagship Assistant Store Manager (Islington)

    Islington, London Full time Details

    Islington is our Flagship store spanning three floors and stocking our widest range of art materials. As our largest store it plays host to our art events, creative workshops and an annual Student Day. As an Assistant Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. Responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, (sometimes unsupervised), our Assistant Managers work with the team in an enthusiastic and energetic manner to ensure the achievement of sales targets in addition to a safe, secure, efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the Cass Art store.

    Desired knowledge, skills and experience

    Retail Management experience at Supervisor or Assistant/Store Manager level

    The ability to lead, develop and motivate the team.
