  • PA to CEO

    - Permanent / Part Time Details

    In this role you will be working as an integral part of the in-house administrative support function; providing dedicated professional PA support to the CEO covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner, including all aspects of diary management, schedules, meetings and travel whilst also taking the lead on some company projects and events as directed. Key to your success in this role will be your excellent organisation skills, personable manner, and your ability to multi-task to ensure that the CEO’s diary is well managed.

    This role covers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an 8am start

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING

    • Providing dedicated professional PA support to Mark Cass covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner.
    • Responsible for general PA duties such as; monitoring emails, opening post, file management, typing correspondence, dictation, minute taking and any other administrative duties as they arise.
    • Diary management including meeting, accommodation and travel arrangements along with personal event planning.
    • Responsible for following up financial procedures, including processing of weekly/monthly expense claims.
    • Communication and liaison with Suppliers, key external and internal Business Partners and Stake holders as and when required.
    • Assist with and attend high profile company- wide events, lunches, dinners, conferences and networking events during office hours as well as occasional evenings.
    • Supporting the Executive and Non-Executive Directors with any board related tasks as advised.
    • Assist with marketing duties as advised along with coordination of key company events.

    THE CANDIDATE

    • Previous experience in a similar role.
    • Excellent organisation skills, personable manner, with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
    • Fluency in written and spoke English (essential) along with great numerical skills.

  • Flagship Store Manager

    Islington, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As a Flagship Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail business management function, optimising the commercial performance of our Islington Flagship store by identifying business opportunities to drive sales and promote products. Central to this will be you leading, inspiring and developing your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets set, as well as assist in growing the business through compliance, P&L management, operational excellence, marketing development, business acumen and commercial flair.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Team management-including recruitment, interviewing, rotas, training, employee relations and discipline.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, in line with company policy, to set objectives, kpi’s and provide coaching and support to deliver results from your team.
    •  Identify and proactively support the development of talented individuals to support area succession plans and talent
    • Work extensively in partnership with the Marketing dept. and Area Manager on local marketing strategies and CRM development
    • Maximise revenue through events, promotions, workshops and activity in line with the Trade plan
    • Analyse trade information and make commercial decisions to increase revenue
    • Proactively monitor store sales, developing strategies to strive to meet and exceed sales targets set.
    • Manage controllable cost such as payroll, consumables and cash spend (petty cash etc.) along with overseeing and coordinating the daily cash reconciliation and banking procedures for the store.
    • Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards within the store. This includes commercial and creative store visual merchandising in accordance to brand/VM guidelines.
    • Maintain Store Health and Safety standards-compliance with applicable H&S and age restricted sales legislation.
    • Inventory management-Maintain effective communication with Buying and Merchandising, and Store Stock teams to maintain stock levels; overseeing stock control.

    Kingston, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our Kingston Store. As Assistant Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company’s retail management function. Working with the Store Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants, Key Holder and Stock Assistant. You will also assist the Store Manager with the monitoring of store sales, contributing to ideas and strategies to strive exceed sales targets set.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

    • Developing an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction
    • Team management including recruitment, rotas, grievance issues and discipline
    • Overseeing and coordinating the daily cash reconciliation and banking procedures for the store
    • Maintaining merchandising and housekeeping standards
    • Maintaining effective communication with Head Office as necessary
    • Assist in the inductions and training of all store staff

  • Supervisor (Kingston)

    Kingston, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As a Supervisor in our Kingston Store you will be working as part of the wider store management team assisting in operational excellence and sales growth. This role is also responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key Holders.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Supervise the shop floor and till areas
    • Assume duty management responsibility including Store opening and closure in the absence of a Store Manager/Assistant Manager
    • Process refunds and exchanges in line with the company policy
    • Promote and maintain customer service standards
    • Team management-including recruitment and discipline
    • In conjunction with the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager plan effective rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels during all trading hours and staffing costs are in line with budget

    Kingston, London Permanent / Part Time Details

    Our Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish a rapport with customers as you work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. A proactive and professional approach will be required in order to achieve and exceed sales targets set. The ability to work using your own initiative along with the other members of the team in order to maintain the standards of the department will also be essential.

     Experience working in a sales driven retail environment, confident and comfortable in driving sales and meeting personal and team targets.

  • Store Manager (Hampstead)

    Hampstead, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As Manager of our Hampstead store you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. You will lead and inspire your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets as well as assist in growing the business through compliance and operational excellence as well as utilising your business acumen and commercial flair.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Develop an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction.

  • Ecommerce Trading Manager

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

    We are currently looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager. As we continue to grow our business online along with opening new stores this is a great opportunity to join our team. Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, the primary focus of this role will be implementing the ecommerce trading strategy for our website, in order to achieve sales and margin objectives while preserving and building the integrity of the Cass Art brand and other specialist brands sold on our site.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Responsible for developing and executing the online trading strategy to drive online growth
    • Meet and exceed sales targets set and provide analysis on sales trends and monitor competitor activity in order to ensure that there is continued business growth.
    • Working with the buying and merchandising teams to minimise out of stocks and to champion online stock availability 
    • Conduct a daily site walk to check and optimise merchandising and conducting regular reviews of all parts of the website.
    • Work with the Head of Ecommerce to execute price changes and monitor any issues to ensure competitive pricing as well as protecting the margin.
    • Prepare weekly reporting and insight to help the business understand performance, identify issues and trading trends and providing action steps
    • Implement Conversion Rate Optimisation improvements and monitor performance
    • Help manage the creation of high-quality content - for the benefit of customers and as primary driver for long-term SEO benefits.
    • Work closely with our stores as well as our head office teams to optimise the experience for customers across all channels
    • Analyse customer journeys and merchandise the website to maximise ATV and conversion by channel
    • Manage paid and organic search, re-targeting and display advertising channels and acquisition via affiliates

    Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience

    • Minimum 3-5 years ecommerce trading experience in a multichannel retailer
    • Experience using of web analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
    • Ability to work with large volume of data and with great attention to detail.
    • A clear and strategic communicator capable of communicating at a senior level within the organisation.
    • Numerate, with a high level of commercial acumen
