  • Assistant Manager (Charing Cross)

    Charing Cross, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As an Assistant Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail management function. Responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor, (sometimes unsupervised), our Assistant Managers work  with the team in an enthusiastic and energetic manner to ensure the achievement of sales targets in addition to a safe, secure, efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the Cass Art store.

  • Retail Training Co-ordinator

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

     Working as an integral part of the training and retail operations team you will be training staff members from across the business about Cass Art’s product offering across all categories. You will also train staff on our brand history, core values, manifesto, and company heritage. As the retail training team is split into two with one training coordinator based in London and the other based in Glasgow, your focus will be on training our London based store and head office teams as well as our stores based closer to the south of the UK.  

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Deliver key product and sales training sessions to meet business needs.
    • Run effective training workshops which cater to all learner types. Adapt the training for different considerations such as timing, learner’s ability, group size, cancellations and lateness etc.
    • Manage and develop the Cass Art e-learning platform.
    • Provide weekly reports of training sessions, weekly activity, and induction training feedback- continually updating store training records.
    • Deliver fun, informative and engaging brand induction sessions so new starters to the business fully understand the company history, manifesto and core values.
    • Continue to develop effective written and digital training materials and tools plan.
    • Update and manage the training schedules for London stores making intake sessions a priority, along with working with the Store Management team and in-store training ambassadors to plan in ad-hoc sessions.
    • Work closely with the Head of HR and Area Manager; to identify training needs and develop training plans for Store Managers and their teams.
    • Prepare product training plans for new stores and co-ordinate the delivery of training required.
    • Develop, maintain and monitor individual staff training archives which detail training modules which have been attended and training needs.
    • Identify the alignment between customer service, product knowledge, and the achievement of sales targets. Ensure this is communicated to the sales team during training sessions.
    • Develop an effective Cass Art sales and customer service culture, leading the team to ensure sales targets are reached and maximum customer satisfaction delivered.

    • Previous expereince of working in a training role within a retail business.
    • Intermediate/advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office suite; especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop

  • PA to CEO

    - Permanent / Part Time Details

    In this role you will be working as an integral part of the in-house administrative support function; providing dedicated professional PA support to the CEO covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner, including all aspects of diary management, schedules, meetings and travel whilst also taking the lead on some company projects and events as directed. Key to your success in this role will be your excellent organisation skills, personable manner, and your ability to multi-task to ensure that the CEO’s diary is well managed.

    This role covers 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an 8am start

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO), THE FOLLOWING

    • Providing dedicated professional PA support to Mark Cass covering organisational, administrative and managerial assistance duties in an effective manner.
    • Responsible for general PA duties such as; monitoring emails, opening post, file management, typing correspondence, dictation, minute taking and any other administrative duties as they arise.
    • Diary management including meeting, accommodation and travel arrangements along with personal event planning.
    • Responsible for following up financial procedures, including processing of weekly/monthly expense claims.
    • Communication and liaison with Suppliers, key external and internal Business Partners and Stake holders as and when required.
    • Assist with and attend high profile company- wide events, lunches, dinners, conferences and networking events during office hours as well as occasional evenings.
    • Supporting the Executive and Non-Executive Directors with any board related tasks as advised.
    • Assist with marketing duties as advised along with coordination of key company events.

    THE CANDIDATE

    • Previous experience in a similar role.

  • Flagship Store Manager

    Islington, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    As a Flagship Store Manager you will be working as an integral part of the company retail business management function, optimising the commercial performance of our Islington Flagship store by identifying business opportunities to drive sales and promote products. Central to this will be you leading, inspiring and developing your team to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets set, as well as assist in growing the business through compliance, P&L management, operational excellence, marketing development, business acumen and commercial flair.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Team management-including recruitment, interviewing, rotas, training, employee relations and discipline.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, in line with company policy, to set objectives, kpi’s and provide coaching and support to deliver results from your team.
    •  Identify and proactively support the development of talented individuals to support area succession plans and talent
    • Work extensively in partnership with the Marketing dept. and Area Manager on local marketing strategies and CRM development
    • Maximise revenue through events, promotions, workshops and activity in line with the Trade plan
    • Analyse trade information and make commercial decisions to increase revenue
    • Proactively monitor store sales, developing strategies to strive to meet and exceed sales targets set.

    • Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards within the store. This includes commercial and creative store visual merchandising in accordance to brand/VM guidelines.
    • Maintain Store Health and Safety standards-compliance with applicable H&S and age restricted sales legislation.

    Bristol Permanent / Part Time Details

    Contributing to the success and smooth running of our Bristol store the Key Holder will have responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor for store and security processes and procedures such as the opening and closing of the shop and the locking any secure areas of the store as well as providing assistance and excellent customer service.

    This role covers 24 hours per week

  • Stock Supervisor (Kingston)

    Kingston, London Permanent / Full Time Details

    We have an opportunity for a Stock Supervisor to join our Kingston store. Working with the Store Management team along with the Merchandising and Buying departments, this role maintains stock inventory and procurement in store to enhance stock to shop floor stock availability, general stockroom organisation and deliveries.

    This role covers 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Maintain stock levels, planning and ordering of products in our Kingston store.
    • Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health and safety and merchandising guidelines.
    • Process received stock, making it available for the sales floor in a timely manner.
    • Ensure product prices are properly priced/ labelled in line with trading standards.
    • Keep up to date with stock availability, promotions, product changes and order processing development as directed by the Merchandising team.
    • Report on damaged stock and write offs and communicate with the Merchandising team to provide feedback and analysis.
    • Contribute to general store safety through ensuring that all health & safety procedures are effectively carried out and reporting any concerns to the Store Manager/Manager on duty.
    • Assist and conduct all product stock takes with the assistance/guidance of the I.T. and Stock Co-ordinator.
    • Proactively work with the Store Manager, Merchandising team, and operations team to identify system improvements and processes affecting the department.

  • Retail Sales Assistant (London)

    - Permanent/Full and Part Time Details

    Our Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish a rapport with customers as you work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. A proactive and professional approach will be required in order to achieve and exceed sales targets set. The ability to work using your own initiative along with the other members of the team in order to maintain the standards of the department will also be essential.
