  • Senior Buyer (Maternity Cover)

    - Mat Cover / Full Time Details

     As the Senior Buyer for Cass Art, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the buying strategy for the company across both its stores and online business. In this maternity cover role you will be optimising the performance of the buying function and the continuation of the Buying Plan which has been agreed by Cass Art Board.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to):

    • Manage our supplier base to ensure strong relationships are built with all our key suppliers which will support our need to increase margin, extend range online and deliver more Own Brand product.
    • Constantly look for new suppliers who can provide innovative products and support us with Own Brand.
    • Gain an understanding of the supplier cost base to see where cost improvements can be found
    • Ensure the ranging supports our best sellers. Constantly review pricing to ensure we are competitive on the web- agreeing and delivering markdown planning, promotional and pricing strategies.
    • Looking for new products in existing and new categories including ideas for pop ups / workshops etc. Attend trade shows as appropriate.
    • Work with E commerce and stores to launch new product in the most effective and exciting way.
    • Together with the CEO ensure that we embed the analysis of product performance in the business, with recommendations on how to improve performance and constantly engage with stores and E commerce.
    • Maintain an understanding of the consumer through consistent communication with Retail and CRM analysis.
    • Build strong relationships across the Business in stores and in Head Office, spending a significant amount of time in stores talking to staff and customers.
    • Manage and develop the buying team through inspirational leadership, to deliver consistent growth and like for like profit. Ensure clear category management across the team with buyers taking ownership for their own category performance.
    • Review all the buying processes and pull together a plan to implement new efficient processes to support the growth of Cass Art.

  • Email Marketing Executive

    - Permanent / Full time Details

    We have an opportunity for an Email Marketing Executive to join our Customer Engagement team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing all customer activation and retention strategies, including the Cass Art Rewards and Student loyalty programmes. You will use RFM data, transactional data and web browsing behaviour to deliver inspiring, relevant and timely communications which achieve outstanding levels of customer engagement. The focus is on activation and driving repeat purchase, along with delivering a consistent customer experience across our stores and online. The role requires a combination of strong analytical skills and creative flair to create relevant and engaging campaigns to drive customer loyalty to Cass Art.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)

    • Together with the Head of Customer Engagement, create, execute and continuously review CRM strategies which drive lead conversion, customer retention and loyalty, and overall growth of the business.
    • On-going management of customer segments on our marketing platforms which are aligned to this strategy.
    • Work closely with the Head of Customer Engagement to implement lifecycle and behavioural triggered email campaigns, reviewing continuously to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop initiatives to help improve and drive data capture across all customer touch points including the website, stores and competitions.
    • Work with the Ecommerce team and our Loyalty partner to build or amend transactional emails and electronic receipts, which are a critical aspect of how we communicate with customers.
    • Day to day operational management of our loyalty schemes, including Cass Art Rewards, Cobalt Blue and Viridian cards. This involves working with the Customer Service team to manage customer queries, monitoring KPIs at store level, ensuring continuous availability of cards and relevant marketing collateral, managing web content relating to each scheme.
    • Undertake email performance and loyalty scheme reporting and gather insight to continuously improve engagement and develop our CRM strategy.

     Desired Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience owning email marketing and segmentation plans, including the end-to-end co-ordination, within a retail brand
    • Experience of using at least one email service provider for at least 12 months and an excellent understanding of email marketing best practice.
    • Comfortable managing and analysing large volumes of customer data, intermediate understanding of Excel, e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPS
    • Ability to manage multiple work streams at the same time and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
    • An analytical mind and inquisitive nature
    • Confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring others to work with you

    Our Supervisors are a key part of our Management teams. Assisting in the operational excellence and sales growth of the stores, they are responsible for the day to day running of the shop floor (sometimes unsupervised), together with direct line management responsibility for all Retail Sales Assistants and Key-holder’s.

  • Stock Assistant (London)

    - Permanent/ Part Time Details

    Our Stock Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through working alongside the Store Manager, Merchandising Department, Operations and Buying Department to maintain and manage stock inventory and procurement in store. Working as an integral member of the wider Store retail team you will be responsible for enhancing stock to shop floor stock availability, general stockroom management and deliveries. 

    This role covers 16 hours per week and candiadtes will need to be able to travel to all of our zone 1 located London stores.

    Our Retail Sales Assistants contribute to the success and smooth running of Cass Art retail stores through providing assistance and excellent customer service. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly establish a rapport with customers as you work effectively as an ambassador of the Cass Art brand. A proactive and professional approach will be required in order to achieve and exceed sales targets set. The ability to work using your own initiative along with the other members of the team in order to maintain the standards of the department will also be essential.

     Experience working in a sales driven retail environment, confident and comfortable in driving sales and meeting personal and team targets.
