  • Stock Supervisor, (Kensington)

    Kensington, London Permanent / Part Time Details

    We have an opportunity for a Stock Supervisor to join our Kensington store. Working with the Store Management team along with the Merchandising and Buying departments, this role maintains stock inventory and procurement in store to enhance stock to shop floor stock availability, general stockroom organisation and deliveries.

    This role covers 32 hours per week

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

    • Maintain stock levels, planning and ordering of products in our Kensington store.
    • Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health and safety and merchandising guidelines.
    • Process received stock, making it available for the sales floor in a timely manner.
    • Ensure product prices are properly priced/ labelled in line with trading standards.
    • Keep up to date with stock availability, promotions, product changes and order processing development as directed by the Merchandising team.

  • Customer Sales and Care Executive

    - Permanent / Part-time Details

    As Customer Sales and Care Executive you will drive profitable sales and offer advice and support to our customers via phone, chat and email.  Key to success in this role is ensuring that the customer is at the heart of everything you do and that all customer interaction is positive to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Based  partly in our Camden Head Office with some time working form home, this role covers 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm (with a 1 hour break).

    Islington, London Permanent / Part Time Details

    As the Category Manager for the surface category (paper, pads & canvases), your role will be to grow the surface category of our business by offering expert advice to our customers and our staff in our Islington Flagship store. You will work with key departments such as buying, merchandising and marketing, to help launch new surface products, and to input into future product development. You will also suggest ways of improving our existing ranges, as well as supporting with the training and sales development of these categories in store.

    This role covers 30 hours per week.

     Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    • Be accountable and manage the surface floor in our Islington store.
    • Assist Cass Art customers with any queries relating to goods in these categories and their purchase.

    - Temporary / Full Time Details

    Reporting into the Head of Design, and working with the wider Design, Ecommerce and Marketing teams the product photographer is key to supporting the success of our website re-platform early next year. Responsible for producing new high quality still life imagery of a wide range of products for use on our website, email newsletters and social media channels. The individual must have previous experience of pack shot photography within a retail/studio/catalogue/still life type of environment.

    Working from our Milton Keynes Warehouse this is a great opportunity for an organised, versatile and experience product photographer who enjoys working automatously along with the challenge of working with a high volume of product. This is a temporary role over 3 to 6 months.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: (includes but is not limited to):

    • Efficiently creating a high volume of shots for our full product range.
    • Effective management of workload to photograph our full catalogue of products.
    • Following a visual guide, providing high quality and on-brand imagery, taking ownership and responsibility for the quality of your output
    • Creating a consistent and organised workflow in order to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
    • Able to prepare your working set, checking that all equipment is fully functional and correctly maintained
    • Working with and manging the workflow of an Administration Assistant. This included effective preparation of products, keeping log of what has been shot vs what remains to be photographed
    • Image selection, naming, cropping and processing of all images shot, maintaining file size and any relevant specifications for all manners of imagery output

    • Previous experience in a similar role with a portfolio that demonstrates the applied techniques of still life and pack shot photography (composition, lighting, capture, and processing).

  • Ecommerce Trading Manager

    - Permanent / Full Time Details

    Reporting into the Head of Digital, the primary focus of this role will be implementing the ecommerce trading strategy for our website, in order to achieve sales and margin objectives while preserving and building the integrity of the Cass Art brand and other specialist brands sold on our site.

    Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

    • Responsible for developing and executing the online trading strategy to drive online growth and monitor and react to performance, driving initiatives to increase site KPIs
    • An understanding of on-site behaviour and use of this insight to improve on-site conversion, user engagement and brand experience
    • Analyse customer journeys and merchandise the website to maximise ATV and conversion by channel
    • Leverage the website to acquire new customers through all channels
    • Own and develop the ecommerce trading calendar, collaborating across multiple teams and touchpoints to align on objectives and ensure consistency of message
    • Ensure buying and merchandising supply chain minimise out of stocks; champion online stock availability

    We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant who can temporarily work in our Hampstead store during the busy festive period.     • Participate in the day to day running of Cass Art stores, working as part of a team with all other members of Cass Art.

    • Develop a good knowledge and understanding of products sold by Cass Art.
    • Contribute to general store safety through ensuring that all health & safety procedures are effectively carried out and reporting any concerns to the Store Manager/Manager on duty.
    • Be vigilant at all times to ensure theft prevention and security is maintained and stock loss is minimised
    • Abide with legislative instructions with regards to sale (such as age restricted sales)
    • Assist in the receipt of deliveries; unpacking and re-shelving or storing stock, ensuring all stock is safely stored and easily accessible in line with health and safety and merchandising guidelines.
    • Follow the guidelines presented by the Merchandising team, Visual Merchandising and marketing team re: how products should be presented in store.

    • Experience working in retail in a customer service capacity (essential)
    • Flexible approach to working hours
    • Experience using POS machinery-till points (desirable)
    • Good organisation skills
    • Team player
    • Proactive with a positive can-do attitude
    • Committed, enthusiastic and energetic
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and numeracy skills
    • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
