Solstice Lino Cutting

Artist Michelle Murray will be teaching lino cutting in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Cass Art Liverpool. Participants will design and cut their own lino inspired by the solstice, using materials provided on the day, using a selection of inks to print with, from gold to yellow.
Michelle Murray is a multidisciplinary artist who works in a variety of mediums from illustration, making handmade watercolours, sketchbooks and charcoal to prints and 3D sculptures. She studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins Art College where she specialised in illustration. Her work is inspired by everyday life, from childhood to nature in a Scandinavian folklore style.
