Liquitex Markers combine the permanence and coverage of acrylic paint with the control and convenience of a marker format. Designed for illustration, lettering, mixed media, fine art and large-scale work, they offer smooth, consistent flow and strong colour across a wide range of surfaces. The range includes 58 colours in a precise 2mm nib for drawing, detail and layered work, alongside 16 colours available in broader 8mm and 15mm sizes for fills, bold marks and more expressive applications. Colours can be layered for opacity, blended while wet for softer transitions, or worked over paint, ink and collage as part of a wider mixed media process.
The nibs are built to hold their shape through repeated use, helping maintain reliable line quality and paint flow whether working on detailed illustration, sketchbook studies or larger painted surfaces. A selection of curated sets, including primaries, portrait tones, metallics and expanded colour ranges, makes it easy to build a working palette or explore different approaches to colour and mark-makiing.
