Schmincke SUPER Retarter 60ml

This jelly-like additive for acrylic colours preserves their consistency while significantly retarding drying time, making it ideal for prolonged wet-on-wet techniques. Adding approximately 20% to your acrylics can extend the drying time by up to 75%, with a maximum recommended ratio of 50%.

Please note that this product should not be used in its pure form, as it lacks film-forming properties. The Super Retarder is ready to use and should be mixed with acrylic colours on a separate palette. Effects vary based on the amount of medium added, and it can be diluted with water if needed. Be sure to clean your tools promptly with water or soap and water to avoid any residue.
