Chelsea Classical Extra-Pale Cold-Pressed Linseed Oil is a traditional, naturally purified oil that is lighter, paler, and dries faster than oils produced with modern refining methods. It is resistant to yellowing which is common in most industrially refined and uncleaned oils.
When linseed oil is added to oil paint, it enhances the gloss and transparency of the paint. It also makes the paint thinner, allowing it to flow more easily and preventing brush marks.
