Imperial Purple combines the depth of Ultramarine with the brilliance of Quinacridone Violet to create a colour of remarkable elegance and versatility. Transparent and atmospheric, it moves effortlessly from rich shadow to passages of vibrant colour, making it an invaluable addition to the painter's palette.

The Michael Harding Oil Paint range contains the finest of the finest pigments, ground in refined cold-pressed linseed oil. Luminous, brilliant colours at very high tint strengths, they are totally free of fillers, extenders or driers, with a texture that's silky rather than oily.
