Description

QoR Watercolour Ground is a fluid acrylic primer that creates a porous surface, similar to hot pressed watercolour paper.

  • This new product can be used on many different materials including canvas and wood, opening up new and exciting possibilities when working with watercolour.
  • This watercolour ground dries to an absorbent, lightfast and flexible surface that can withstand the repeated lifting of colour.
  • Suitable for working with all watercolour techniques and approaches, including washes and staining effects, it can also be used to return stained areas to absorbent white surfaces.

Available in a 237ml jar.

2nd March 2017 Reviewed by C Jenkins Only used once to try out. Tested it for its ability to cover an already painted area of a painting already completed. It required about 4 thin layers to cover, more than expected, but it was easy to paint over and blend in with the rest of the painting so that it is not apparent that it has been used. So far only tested on watercolour paper
