This Derwent XL Graphite Set contains six supersized blocks of soft fine art graphite.

  • Each stick measures a generous 20mm x 20mm x 60mm, so they fit nicely into your hand, and the large size makes it easy to create a range of strokes.
  • Try using the long side when you want really strong, bold marks, or use an edge or corner for finer details.
  • The watersoluble graphite goes on smoothly, and smudges and blends beautifully.

This set of Derwent XL Graphite includes six sticks: Olive Green, Dark Prussian, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Soft Graphite and Very Soft Graphite.

We'll then send you a free returns label or organise a collection, free of charge as long as it is in a resellable condition and within 14 days.

Once we've recieved your return we'll process tha package and the refund should be back in your account within 48 hours.

Q What are these used for?

Graphite sticks and blocks are a unique way of approaching sketching. They can be used to make large markings and are water soluble so can be worked with experimentally with water and brush.

25th February 2017 Reviewed by Vivienne Avery I've used these products in pencil form before, this is the first time I've tried them as a stick. Water-suluble graphite is so creative. They are versatile, can be used for making big soft marks and can also be used like a watercolour pan(try a water brush). Great colours for outdoor landscape work.
