Step into the world of graphite and discover the art of seeing through your pencil. This inspiring two-hour class is perfect for absolute beginners who want to learn the foundations of drawing in a relaxed, creative space. Guided by a professional artist with over ten years of experience, you’ll explore essential techniques including shading, proportion, texture and lighting. These tools will give you the ability to bring simple subjects to life on paper. Whether you’re rekindling your creativity or starting fresh, you’ll leave with a finished drawing, new skills, and the confidence to keep creating. All materials are provided; just bring your curiosity and an open mind.
Othman Izagaren is a self-taught artist, illustrator, and designer with over a decade of professional experience. His clients include professional footballers, theatre companies, video game developers, and international award-winning entertainment retailers. He has also tutored artists at every stage of their development. Beginning his creative journey with a love for graphite on paper, Othman later expanded into digital art, broadening his visual language and collaborative work. Recently, he has returned to graphite, combining the precision of traditional drawing with the versatility gained from digital practice. His current work explores the human experience through a distinctive blend of technical skill, emotional depth, and contemporary storytelling.

Materials provided: Materials will be provided, but you can also bring your own. You will need a set of graphite pencils, sheets of high-quality cartridge paper, erasers (solid & kneaded), sharpeners & blending stumps.
