I bought the white pad because I'm going to tint it with watercolour and also try out different media on it. It has thin paper separating the sheets which would be good for pastel artists - not tried it myself yet. |

However with 4-5 layers use workable fixative on the part you want to work more color into. For portraits, the colored paper-selection adds extra life to the work. Try it out for yourself, really, TRY IT!! |

Blending is so easy and the colours hold exceptionally well - the crystal cover paper for each set is invaluable and not always available with other brands of pastel pads. |
