Bold Tendencies is a not-for-profit arts organisation based in the rooftop spaces at Peckham Multi-Storey Car Park in London. Since 2007 it has transformed a disused building in the city into an experimental civic space and much-loved place of assembly. Bold Tendencies covers a very wide spectrum of the arts, it offers a specific visual connection between people, place and city and learning is at the heart of what it does. Completely open, Bold Tendencies brings people together. The joy of being welcome. Up there. In the air.
Each Artistic Programme brings to life a universal idea. A series of responses to an annual theme, a summer season engaging with one of life's 'big questions' across a broad range of disciplines. The theme for 2026 is Euphoria.
Bold Family Days take over the site on Sundays, 1 - 4pm, 5th July, 2nd August, 6th September, with free creative activities from sculpture building to large mural making in collaboration with Frank Bowling Studio, and free ice poles from Frank’s Café, with art materials supported by Cass Art.
