Create Your Own Cosmic Worlds – Mixed Media Workshop

Create your own cosmic worlds in this half-day workshop, experimenting with layering acrylic inks, watercolour powders, and oils on paper to build rich, atmospheric, and otherworldly surfaces. Through guided exercises, you’ll explore colour, texture, and process, learning how different materials interact and how to work intuitively through layering. You will be guided through every step of the process and you will come away with 2x A3 original artworks. Beginners and more experienced artists are both welcome. All materials are included, so you can focus fully on the process of making.

Martha Lamont is a Bristol-based artist who brings over six years of diverse teaching experience with both adults and children to her workshops. She graduated from City & Guilds with an MA in Fine Art in 2023. Alongside creating her own work, Martha teaches specialised, skill-based workshops, mentors' artists 1:1 and runs weekly Online Painting Clubs. She also co-hosts The Healthy Artist podcast. Her broad teaching background and professional expertise ensure a supportive, enriching environment for artists of all levels.

Please note, this workshop takes place on the lower ground floor and there is no step-free access. The workshop takes place on the shop floor during trading hours. Please expect typical levels of sound, light, and activity.
