About Islington

It is lovely to see our customers back in store!

We continue to operate using measures to ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers. These measures are explained here.

Islington is our London Flagship store, the UK’s largest art supply store on three floors. Find us on the East Side of London, just a five-minute walk from Angel tube station.

We have an entire floor dedicated to painting and drawing, another for paper and canvas and our lower ground floor full of kid’s creative supplies and a large range of craft, printmaking and modelling materials.

We provide the world’s best art brands at the most affordable prices (ask about our Price Guarantee), and our staff are all artists so that we can provide friendly, expert advice on all your creative projects.

Our shop is wheelchair accessible with a lift.

Voted one of Time Out’s 100 Best London Shops

Our flagship store is celebrating its tenth year and we’ve recently transformed the look of the store. In addition to bringing in a wide selection of new products, we have also created a range of interactive spaces in store to make every visit with us a unique experience.

The New Paper Space

Our new and improved paper area in our Islington store. Spread over 2500 square feet, and positioned on our top floor with the best natural lighting, The Paper Space offers a comprehensive range of texture, weight and colours to ensure you can find the right surface whatever your chosen discipline or technique. Explore our extended range from the world’s best brands in paper in one place!

The Try Me Table

Our demonstration table lets you try out our large range of products, learn tips and techniques and attend workshops led by artists and our suppliers. We also have daily demonstrations by our staff artists, find out more here.

The Space at Cass Art

An exhibition, workshop and meet-up space which aims to support the creative endeavour of local artists. Previous exhibitions have included BP Portrait Artists, a Royal Academy Abstract Expressionism call for entries show, The Stuckists as well as individual shows by artists and group exhibitions by our staff.  The Space is also home to local art groups who use the space for their monthly meet-ups and regular workshops by artists and suppliers.
