Each pastel is approximately 6.5cm long and 1cm in diameter.

Sennelier Oil Pastels began to be developed in 1949 by Sennelier for Pablo Picasso who was looking for an oil pastel that had intense colour and could be applied to a wide variety of surfaces. The resulting Pastel has intensity and vibrancy of colour, is 100% lightfast and, due to the combination of non-aggressive oils and waxes, can be used on almost any surface, including paper, without cracking or effecting the substrate.
