Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour Thinner 250ml

Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour Thinner is a water mixable alternative to the solvents commonly used with conventional oil paints and produces a “leaner” mixture.

• This thinner has been specially developed to maintain the oily feel and keeps colour open longer than when mixed with water. Although water is suitable as a diluent for the colour, its speedy evaporation can make the colour thicken upon the palette much quicker than conventional oil colour would when used with turpentine.
• As water mixable thinner does not form an emulsion, there is less colour change than there would be with water.
• Low odour.
• Can be cleaned up with water.
• Can be combined with water mixable oils to prepare own mediums.
