The use of oil modified alkyd resin, which are made from a naturally derived vegetable oil that is polymerised, allows the paint to dry quicker whilst retaining the other characteristics of conventional oil painting. 

Their Griffin Fast Drying Oil Colour range offers the excellent advantage of faster drying times compared to traditional oil paints. This means that the traditional oil techniques of both impasto and glazing can be done in considerably less time and a painting can be completed in a single session.

• The full range of 48 colours are ideal for painting outdoors, and greater transparency means increased depth and clarity for glazes.
• Available in 37ml & 200ml tubes in selected colours.
• The colours remain workable for 4 to 8 hours and are touch dry in 18 to 24 hours.
• Consistent drying times across the range removes the usual restrictions that come with conventional oils, making it easier to overpaint, regardless of the colour upon the surface.
• The full range of 50 colours are available in 37ml tubes and some whites are also available in 120ml & 200ml tubes.
