Liquitex Professional Bio-Based Gloss Medium 250ml

The Liquitex Professional Bio-Based Medium range reflects the effort Liquitex is making by being more environmentally conscious, while still maintaining the ultimate product performance. Available in Core Fluid & Gel Mediums in both Gloss and Matt finishes, they are created using the finest environmentally friendly materials for stable, archival results.

What’s changed? Typically, acrylic paints and mediums have a resin base made from 100% petrol-based acrylic. Liquitex Bio-Based has cut this in half, replacing these ingredients with ones from renewable, biological sources. In addition to the resin, every other ingredient that has a bio-based alternative has been replaced, and Liquitex has avoided any components or pigments derived from animals.
