Clairefontaine Pastelmat Board is a premium acid free and lightfast surface that allows you to build up layers of pastel without the need for fixative. With a courser surface than velour but softer than sand paper even the softest pastel adheres well. Pastelmat is ideal for all dry media including pastel sticks, pastel pencils and charcoal. Clairefontaine Pastelmat Pastel Board features their well loved 360gsm Pastelmat paper bonded to a 18.mm board so it is rigid enough to be supported by an easel. Available in dark and light colours.
