ISLAMIC ILLUMINATION ART

In these workshops, we will learn, draw and paint islimi (arabesque) patterns in Islamic Art. Each session will explore a new composition. Some of the materials will be provided, whilst some can be purchased in-store at Cass Art.
Zahra Halepota is an Artist and Teacher who has adopted a style of miniature painting using natural pigments, dyes and fine painting techniques to create her works. She has taught at Heidelberg University in Germany as well as a number of other institutes such as the Liaise Women's Centre in the UK and the Khataei Patterns VM Centre for Traditional Arts in Pakistan.
Location: The Art Space, Cass Art Kingston

Ages: 14+
Materials: Some of the materials will be provided. Other materials can be purchased on the day of the class at the Cass Art Store with a 10% discount. For details, please ask Zahra when booking.
Tickets: £30 pounds per class, or £100 pounds for 4 classes. Concessions: 20% discount for refugees or anyone with difficult circumstances.
