Tear, cut, and glue your way into the creative world of collage while exploring new approaches to visual communication. Suitable for all skill levels, this engaging two-and-a-half-hour workshop introduces a range of techniques, tips, and creative tricks to help you build confidence and enjoy the process. You'll learn about the history and principles of collage, how to make the most of materials and tools such as glue and scissors, and how to create compelling compositions using a variety of collage elements. Working in a relaxed and welcoming environment, you'll also explore key design concepts that can strengthen your artistic practice.
Tutor Dexter Couchman is a graphic artist and designer trained at the art school of the University of Brighton. He specialises in digital design, illustration, screen-printing and collage and has worked freelance for the last 5 years. studiodex.co.uk
