ABOUT THE STORE

Our shop is located on Corporation Street, only a hop skip and a jump from Birmingham’s fabulously renovated New Street Station/Grand Central complex and yards away from the busy New Street shopping thoroughfare.

The city is also home to the largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite art in the world at The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and for modern art, Ikon is an internationally acclaimed contemporary art venue and educational charity. With talents such as David Cox, Walter Langley, David Bomberg and Peter Phillips there is no shortage of talent produced from this area of England.

Birmingham has been a pivotal city in the history of our nation and continues to be a beacon of innovation. It has a rich cultural heritage with major cultural institutions such as the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Barber Institute of Art (Good Britain Guide’s ‘Gallery of the Year 2004’) that are a testament to the city’s vibrant artist community.

Cass Art is the UK’s leading art materials supplier. We provide the world’s best art brands at the most affordable prices, and our staff are all artists so that we can provide friendly, expert advice on all your creative projects.

Our shop is wheelchair accessible.

We look forward to supporting artists of all ages with the world’s leading art brands at the most affordable prices.

"Art is not a mirror to hold up to society, but a hammer with which to shape it"

CASS ART BIRMINGHAM

“Hi I’m Bex. I love upcycling and lino printing! Everything I make is made from secondhand materials, even the trim, to add that little bit of pizazz to forgotten pieces. I love to make your wardrobe that little bit different and make fashion fun! My favourite thing to make is ties! I focus on a lot of pop culture iconography from shows that I love and watch regularly myself. I own a little wall space in Redbrick Market Digbeth where I sell my creations!"
