The Everyday Paint: Acrylic! With Luke Slator
20th Dec 2025
A class for complete newbies to part-time Picassos. This is not a traditional painting class - you won't be painting cornucopias or scenic riversides. You will mainly be focusing on techniques and exercises that will help you build a better understanding of how to expand your visual language and to get a better hold on your fundamentals when it comes to painting - and most importantly, to keep painting fun and interesting for yourself. Each class is going to be a new session, so no need to worry about making it to every one!
Luke Slator graduated from the Arts University of Bournemouth and has been a freelance illustrator and painter for the last 6 years. He has experimented with many mediums and surfaces, exhibited his work in a number of places, and has had his work published in magazines. Luke has several years of experience in teaching others about mediums and the tools of the trade.
