Workshop: Bookbinding with Bex

Discover the art of making hand-made books… a day of learning a core technique in book structure that will prepare you to experiment with, design and create your own unique books in future. Bex aims to give participants a combination of reassuring support and guidance, and encourages beginners as well as those with some experience of making.
Coffee, tea, cold water and snacks will be provided but please bring something with you for lunch. There are also many places in Park Street where you can buy something to eat.
Bex has been making books for more than 30 years. Alongside her studio work, she has taught a variety of courses, one-day workshops & summer schools. She has also worked in southern Africa for 10 years, making the most of the rich influences and experiences that such a culturally diverse space offers.
