Exhibition: In Bloom – Visual Poetry
21st Nov 2025
Celebrate women and inclusion with Lucia’s solo visual poetry exhibition, In Bloom. Exploring the history of floral patterns and social paradigms from the 1920s to the 2020s, the poet invites women and non-binary people to ruffle up feathers, encouraging them to be vocal and bold. In Bloom will present a selection of found, concrete and cut-up poetry. This is poetry like you’ve never seen. Poetry you can touch. Made not only with words. It’s innovative, inventive and, most importantly, environmental. Come and see it for yourself.
Lucia is a London-based bilingual wordsmith. In her career, she has translated books, movies, documentaries, and TV series. She has written and published poetry, one of which became an award-winning animated short film. She has hosted three solo visual poetry exhibitions, and her latest, In Bloom, is touring London. Passionate about communication, literature, music, theatre, comic books and arts in general, she often collaborates with various artists and musicians – you’ll find a couple of songs written by her on Spotify. In terms of her formal education, Lucia studied Theatre Therapy and earned a BA in Modern Languages and Literature in Italy, while she gained an MA (with distinction) in Creative Writing at the historical Birkbeck University. luciamorciano.com
