Take up your brushes, The Watercolour Challenge is back for 2016!
For two years in a row, our #MAKEASPLASH Watercolour Challenge has flooded our social media channels with colourful, inspiring watercolours. From fashion illustrators to landscape artists, professionals to those just starting with the medium, we invite everyone to revisit their passion for watercolour this spring for a chance to win £500 worth of art materials!
Will you be our Watercolour Challenge Winner 2016?
Your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to make as many watercolour works as you can by the 31st May 2016.
You can use any watercolour medium you like. From traditional Watercolour half pans and water-soluble pencils to innovative Watercolour Markers and Watercolour Sticks; we don’t mind what products you choose. Simply experiment with your favourites and get sharing you artworks on our social media channels.
The aim is to experiment, be creative and learn as you go.
How to Enter
Every time you complete a watercolour work, share your pictures on our social media channels for your chance to be selected as our winner. You can use any of the channels below to enter, just choose your favourite and follow the guidelines for each.
Tag @CassArt with an image of you watercolour work using the hashtag #MAKEASPLASH
Post an image directly to the Cass Art Page of your watercolour and include the hashtag #MAKEASPLASH
Tag @CassArtLondon with an image of your watercolour work and use the hashtag #MAKEASPLASH
Only entrants featuring #MAKEASPLASH on their posts to any of the three platforms above will be counted, so don’t forget to use that hashtag! We will not be counting entries on any other social platforms.
Not a social media buff?
Alternatively, you can send your watercolours to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will share the work on your behalf! Simply include "Make A Splash Watercolour Challenge Entry" in the subject line and don't forget to include your full name.

Terms and Conditions:
You may choose Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to upload your artwork. No other social media platforms will be counted.
You must upload an image of the work, with the relevant hashtag and company tag for each social platform to be counted. Using just the hashtag or just the tag will not count into the prize draw.
One Artwork = One Entry
Every time you upload a new artwork, this will be counted and added to the prize draw. If the same work appears on more than one social media platform, it will only be entered into the draw once.
You may email your artwork to email@example.com as an alternative if you do not have a social media account. Each image will be counted as one entry. You may send multiple images per email. The email must follow the guidelines above to be counted.
All entries must be your own artwork. If we suspect any entries are not your own work, you may be asked to provide proof of ownership. This can result in your entry or previous entries being disqualified from the prize draw.
The competition ends at 23:59 on 31 May 2016. Any entries submitted after this date will not be counted.
The winner will be announced within 30 days of the competition ending.
Selected artworks will be shared via Cass Art social platforms. Due to the high volume of entries, not all artworks will be shared, however all will be counted.
