16th June 2017 Reviewed by Elaine Freezer I'd like to be able to give more than 5 stars. This vine charcoals excellent, you can sharpen it with sandpaper to fine point for detailed, delicate drawings. Ideal for still-life, life-drawing and portraits. A professional artists product but I'd recommend to any level of artist that enjoys charcoal drawing.

31st March 2017 Reviewed by Malcolm Gillespie The review of the hard Nitram charcoal and the medium is the same. i have Used charcoal for drawing all my life I'm 73. Nitram is a unique product – my discovery of it 3 years ago changed my drawing for the better it so much more sensitive. Although it is much dearer it is worth every penny.
