Now in its sixth year, the award is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students of fine and applied art, fashion and illustration. The Hermione Hammond Drawing Award was established in 2012, in memory of the artist Hermione Hammond (1910-2015), to encourage the practice of representational drawing among art students. The award is open to students in the UK and Republic of Ireland who have the opportunity to win a £2,000 prize and a £250 Cass Art Materials prize.
